Objectives

Social trajectory since 1979
Between 1979 and 1989, implementation of community social services.
Opening of the first shelters for minors: Home The Brothers and El Verdader Home.
Start of training activities aimed at young people and adults vocational training courses, workshops for youth in social integration difficulties in obtaining teaching academic credentials (Graduate School).
Implementation of community social services: social service offices, school psycho cabinet, county club for the elderly "Third Spring" youth club "La Marina".
Between 1.990 and 1.999, to the Social Services Specialist
It implants the Law 5 / 1989 of Social Services Valencia, establishing a public system of social services.
The councils take care Emmaus Community and the Association, organized in departments according to the care sector tends towards a specialization of social action, securing the areas already covered and expanding others:
Juvenile Department: We opened a total of six juvenile facilities with 66 residential beds, authorized by the Department of Social Welfare of the Generalitat Valenciana. It signed agreements for residential care of children with various autonomous communities. We developed an innovative program to "break rooms" for youth to collaborate with other European juvenile institutions. Other programs:
Agreement with the Ministry of Justice for alternative service to military service. It promotes the formation of associations and create partnerships with European vocation: Altea European Association for Social Integration and Spain Altea Association for Research, Training and Intervention in Social Action.
